Trout in the Classroom is a program where school students raise trout from eggs in the classroom and then release the fingerlings into local streams. The Brodhead Chapter Trout Unlimited supplies the aquarium and other equipment.
On April 10, 2019, students from Stroudsburg High School released the trout they raised this year at the site of the chapter’s stream habitat improvement work, in conjunction with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, at the former Cherry Valley Golf Course that is part of the Cherry Valley National Wildlife Refuge near Stroudsburg.
